Skillet Slam Dunks First Headline European Tour with Sold-Out Shows Across the UK, Belgium, Germany, Russia and More

(December 3, 2014) — It’s been a massive year of performing to sold-out and capacity crowds across the globe for award-winning Atlantic/Word Records rockers Skillet, and the latest was during their first headline tour across Europe throughout October and November. Selling out 60% of the venues, including London, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Warsaw, Antwerp and Cologne, the band also packed houses in Stockholm, Zurich, Hamburg, Glasgow, and cities in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Last weekend, Crowder wrapped his first headline solo tour – the “Neon Steeple Tour” – playing his final show at The Tabernacle in Atlanta with Capital Kings and All Sons & Daughters. At the venue, Crowder was honored with a plaque commemorating the RIAA Gold Certification of his digital single with the David Crowder*Band - "How He Loves." The song was originally recorded by the David Crowder*Band for their album Church Music.

On one of his final tour stops, Crowder teamed up with The Recording Academy Texas Chapter for a “GRAMMY U Soundcheck” at Crossroads Church in Dallas. Crowder and his crew were able to give college students and future members of The Recording Academy a behind the scenes look at a typical venue soundcheck and answer questions about the tour life of an artist.

GRAMMY® Winner Michael W. Smith Named Philanthropist of the Year and Honored by Nashville Association of Talent Directors

Nashville, Tenn. (November 14, 2014) – In the midst of promotion for Michael W. Smith & Friends: The Spirit of Christmas, which quickly hit No. 1 on the Billboard Holiday Albums chart, three-time GRAMMY® winner Michael W. Smith was named Philanthropist of the Year by the Nashville Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). Additionally, Smith was honored by the Nashville Association of Talent Directors (NATD) for his impact on the Nashville entertainment industry. 

On National Philanthropy Day – November 5 – the Nashville Chapter of AFP named Smith Philanthropist of the Year based on his extensive work with Rocketown, which he founded in 1994. The first of its kind in the Southeast, Rocketown over the years has grown into a model example for Christian-based relational outreach programs across the country. Following the tragedy of Columbine in 1999, Rocketown’s board was inspired to grow the scope of programming and move to a central location in downtown Nashville. This past Tuesday evening at The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, NATD held its annual gala, honoring seven entertainment professionals for their efforts to make Nashville the exciting and vital entertainment mecca that it is today. Hollywood Museum Celebrates Amy Grant and other Christmas Icons

Museum to showcase holiday legends spanning over 60 years  

Hollywood, CA (November 12, 2014) — Amy Grant will be honored at Lights, Cameras...Stars! Holidays Hollywood Style, a holiday exhibition at The Hollywood Museum honoring iconic celebrities who have made Christmas a significant part of their careers. 

The exhibit opens on Thursday, November 13, with a special ceremony and cocktail party. Amy Grant's 'Christmas Career' will be one of the highlights. She has recorded four Christmas albums, hosted two christmas television specials and toured with the Nashville Symphony on several holiday tours.

Chris Tomlin Joins The Board of CURE International

Atlanta, Ga. (November 11, 2014) — CURE International, the largest provider of reconstructive surgery to disabled children in the emerging world, announced this week the addition of Chris Tomlin to its Board of Directors.

The Digital Age Announces Rehearsals Vol. 2

Rehearsals Vol. 1 & 2 to be released as dual vinyl package

Nashville, Tenn. (November 5, 2014) – Fair Trade band The Digital Age has announced the release of their latest rehearsals project – Rehearsals Vol. 2. Recorded and produced in their hometown studio in Waco, Texas, Rehearsals Vol. 2 features six new tracks that together exude the band’s commitment to continue creating music for the Church. The Digital Age released their debut studio album Evening:Morning last year, hitting No. 3 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart and topping the Christian/Gospel chart for Streaming Albums on release week. About Lacey Sturm
In 2002, Lacey Sturm co-founded Flyleaf and led the rock band to international success as its frontwoman. The band's single "All Around Me" went platinum, soaring to the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earning recognition as an award-winning song at the 2009 BMI Pop Awards. Nashville, Tenn. (October 9, 2014) – The 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards took place last night at Lipscomb University in Nashville and, once again, Mandisa was a highlight of the show. Mandisa entered the night as one of the most nominated artists – alongside host Lecrae, Artist of the Year Hillsong UNITED and Matt Maher – and was the previous year’s winner of the 2013 UPLift Someone Award.

Taking the stage with the Cantinas Dance Project out of California, Mandisa performed her No. 1 hit “Overcomer” for an excited Dove Awards audience. Immediately following her performance, Mandisa was awarded her first career Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for Overcomer.

(October 8, 2014) - MercyMe lead-singer Bart Millard co-hosted the 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards with Lecrae last night, and even so, had no idea what was in store following the band's lively performance of their No. 1 radio single "Greater." As the multi-platinum, award-winning band wrapped, the band's manager, Scott Brickell and Fair Trade Service's President Jeff Moseley presented MercyMe with a plaque commemorating 2 million downloads of their worldwide hit "I Can Only Imagine," followed by a standing ovation from the audience.
