Nashville, Tenn (August 19, 2015) — GRAMMY® and Billboard Music Award winner Chris Tomlin saw his longtime vision come to life last week as more than 35,000 people came together for Worship Night In America events, selling out NYC's Madison Square Garden, Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheater and Sacramento's Sleep Train Arena.

The inaugural events brought people together for a time of worship and prayer for the nation and featured special guests Louie Giglio, Max Lucado, Matt Redman, Kari Jobe, Rend Collective, Israel Houghton, Matt Maher, Phil Wickham and Hillsong's Reuben Morgan. Fox News and Digital Journal covered the Madison Square Garden event, remarking that it was "jaw-dropping" and that it "captivated NYC."

This October, Tomlin will release a brand new Christmas album ADORE: Christmas Songs of Worship. The album is the follow up to his RIAA Gold Certified 2012 Christmas project, Glory In The Highest and was recorded live at Ocean Way Recording Studios in Nashville. ADORE features special guests Crowder, Lauren Daigle and All Sons & Daughters. Tomlin will head out on a Christmas tour in support of the album, set to launch December 5 in Knoxville, TN (see tour routing below).

Christmas dates will follow the second leg of the “Love Ran Red Tour," featuring Ireland's Rend Collective, which has already been the biggest tour of Tomlin's career. 

As fans continue to respond to Love Ran Red, singles continue to climb the charts. Tomlin recently tied the record for most top tens in the history of Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart as his current hit, "At the Cross (Love Ran Red)" broke into the top ten. Tomlin also garnered four 2015 GMA Dove Award nominations last week including Contemporary Christian Artist of Year, Worship Album of the year and Worship Song of the Year.

Generation Exodus Foundation Re-Launches, Hiring Touring and Marketing Veteran Jamie Nixon

Tour partnership announced with Capitol Christian Music Group

Nashville, Tenn. (August 18, 2015) – Ending their brief 2-year hiatus following, the Generation Exodus Foundation has re-launched with the assistance of James “Jamie” Nixon. After more than 7 years as the Director of Touring and Marketing at Blackhawk Audio, Nixon joins Generation Exodus as General Manager alongside president Kevin Braun.

"While working at Blackhawk Audio, Jamie provided production for many of the Christian music industry's biggest artists, including Skillet, Casting Crowns, Tobymac, and For King and Country," remarked Braun. "We are incredbily fortunate to have him join our team at Generation Exodus and are excited about our future together."

As a registered Nonprofit Public Charity, the Generation Exodus Foundation has promoted events in 24 states with some of the highest selling hard ticket dates in Christian music touring. Including in excess of 10,000 people for both Chris Tomlin and TobyMac, and Casting Crowns at nearly 13,000 tickets sold. Located outside of Pittsburgh, PA, Generation Exodus also promotes events that are free of charge.

August 2015 marks the foundation's official relaunch, including a self-branded “Club Tour” in major markets in partnership with Capitol Christian Music Group. Kicking off in November, the club tour will feature DJ Promote, Capital Kings, and NF. Generation Exodus will be producing and promoting the “Resolution 2016” tour for early next year. Colton Dixon Announces New Dual EPs Calm and Storm, Available September 11

Nashville, Tenn. (July 20, 2015) — Colton Dixon will give fans a glimpse of his musical versatility with the upcoming releases of dual EPs Calm and Storm, debuting September 11. Calm, a stripped down collection of acoustic songs, and Storm, a compilation of energetic remixed tracks, will feature fan favorites from Dixon's debut release A Messenger and current project ANCHOR. Fans will hear transformed versions of the biggest hits including "You Are," "Never Gone" and "More Of You." 

Copies of the EPs will be available as one full length album including both Calm and Storm titles The Calm Before The Storm, or the EPs may be purchased and streamed separately through digital music services.

Irish Worship Band, Rend Collective, Prepares To Release Energetic Fifth Studio Album, As Family We Go, August 21

As Family We Go marks Rend Collective’s first album with Capitol Christian Music Group

Nashville, Tenn. (July 10, 2015) — Rend Collective is known for their dynamic live worship, and their upcoming August 21 release, As Family We Go, has captured that same energy and spirit.

Claiming neither folk or indie rock, this celebration band continues to reinvent the "soundtracks" to their ministry, pushing further into new instrumentation and sounds. The upcoming release will bring 11 tracks of worship music, while a deluxe version of the album will offer two brand new songs, two remixes and one ukulele track.

The album is now available for preorder at iTunes, along with the first single “You Will Never Run.”

The band recently explained the meaning of the title As Family We Go in a post to fans.

“Part of the title comes from the fact that we always have considered ourselves less as a band, and more like a family...We pray as a family, work as a family, and do ministry as a family,” the band wrote. 

“But more importantly, we belong to a larger family, and that family includes you. The children of God have always been a people on the move, driven by a mission and a purpose. We aren’t part of a social club, but we’re given a charge from the Father: to share His love with the world.”

The group hopes to capture the heart behind As Family We Go by asking others to share their own personal family and community stories. People are able to post pictures, stories, prayer requests and encouragement online using the hashtag #AsFamilyWeGo and tagging Rend Collective. The band will check and share stories daily. 

As Family We Go is Rend Collective’s fifth studio record, but it’s the group’s first release with new label partners, Capitol Christian Music Group.

Owl City Releases Mobile Orchestra Today

Since its debut, the video has already reached nearly two million people on social media, and the single has climbed to the No. 1 spot at Hot AC radio, making it Dixon's fourth consecutive No. 1 single on the chart. The track is also quickly climbing both the AC Indicator and AC Monitored charts, currently at No. 10 and No. 14 respectively.

Sanctus Real's Matt Hammitt Announces Departure From Band

Band to Launch "Farewell To A Friend Tour" 
and Release Greatest Hits Project This Fall 

Nashville, Tenn. (July 1, 2015) - After a 20 year history together, GRAMMY nominations, Dove Awards, seven albums and six No. 1 singles, Matt Hammitt, the lead singer of Sanctus Real, has announced he will be leaving the band this December. Both Matt and his fellow band members have taken time to draft personal statements so that their fans can hear from them first hand and in their own words.

The band has announced their “Farewell To A Friend” tour this fall, which will be Hammitt’s final tour with the band. Sparrow Records will release a Greatest Hits project from Sanctus Real this October, featuring the band’s top hits over their 20 year career and a new single, which will release in the fall as well.

There isn't nearly enough space to recount or describe what I've experienced with my friends in Sanctus Real over the past twenty years. I'm so grateful for what God has allowed a few guys from Toledo, Ohio to experience together. I don't take it lightly, the ability that songs have to impact the hearts and lives of those who hear them. Experiencing this God-given mystery with my friends in the band has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

I want to thank my band mates, current and former, but especially Mark and Chris for allowing me to share in this incredible season of life with them. And of course, to our families, you are the backbone God has blessed us with. Thank you for holding down the fort. I love and appreciate you.

Over the past few months, I've felt the Lord calling me into a new mission field, into a new season of life. My primary gifting as a communicator is simply sharing my life and heart with people, and they're going to get the best of that.

We were three wide-eyed kids with hopes of blazing a trail and reaching people with the Gospel when we signed a record deal fourteen years ago. And now we’re three men blessed to see the impact all these years of writing songs and traveling the country have made. We’re husbands and fathers with a responsibility to sow into our families the same love and faith that caused us to come together as a band of believers in the first place. 

It is with this responsibility in mind that Matt first came to us distressed by the balance of life lived out on the road and a life being played out at home while being gone. For each of us this balance has been a delicate lesson to learn over years of touring and countless goodbyes to our loved ones. Add to this the fact that Matt and his wife Sarah have a son with congenital heart disease and the balance can become nearly impossible. 

So you can imagine after almost 20 years of experiencing God move within our tight-knit little world how difficult it might be to watch one of us being called out of it. And after many deep conversations, though I know this conclusion did not come easy, all of us as brothers feel it is the right decision for Matt and his family. 

As for the rest of the band… This is a time for us to ask you to pray for us. We have a passion to use the platform of Sanctus Real to write new music that will continue to influence not just the church world, but reach well beyond anything we could imagine and offer hope to the lost and weary wherever they are. Some may say it’s just music. But to me it couldn’t be anything more. Music filled with the Holy Spirit speaks to my soul, it’s what moves me and it’s a gift God uses to bring incredible life-change to those that hear it.

Phil Wickham Honored with BMI Christian "Song of the Year" Distinction for "This Is Amazing Grace"

New Album Due Out in Early 2016

Nashville, Tenn. (June 30, 2015) – Phil Wickham's "This Is Amazing Grace" garnered the "Song of the Year" honor at last week's BMI Christian Awards. "This Is Amazing Grace," off of his latest album The Ascension, gave Wickham his first career No. 1 single, claiming the top spot on Billboard’s National Christian Audience Chart for 13 consecutive weeks. The song has continually stood in the top 20 of Christian Digital Track Sales, and is currently resting at No. 2 on the CCLI Top Songs Chart. The annual awards ceremony at BMI’s Nashville offices recognized the past year’s most-performed Christian rock, contemporary, inspirational and southern gospel songs played on Christian radio. To view the official lyric video, click here.

Matt Redman's Unbroken Praise Tops Billboard Christian Albums Chart

Nashville, Tenn. (June 24, 2015) Unbroken Praise, the newest release from double-GRAMMY ® winner Matt Redman, has garnered the top spot on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart. Unbroken Praise marks Redman's second, consecutive debut to take the No. 1 place on the chart upon it's release.
