“Baby, Baby” Remix Hits No. 4 on
Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart
Nashville, Tenn. (August 27, 2014) – Six-time GRAMMY® winner Amy Grant’s “Fizzy Delight” (Atlanta Journal-Constitution) In Motion: The Remixes, has catapulted to the Top 5 of Billboard’s Electronic Albums Chart. Following the album’s release last week, it peaked at No. 1 on Amazon’s Best Dance Pop list and Top 10 on iTunes Pop Albums chart. Not stopping there, the Dave Audé remix of her No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 single from 1991, “Baby, Baby,” is back in a big way, currently at No. 4 this week on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart and climbing.
Grant’s first remix album in her 30-plus year career is one that has been met with critical praise, saying it “…capitalizes on the sunny energy of the 1991 hit,” (The New York Times), that its “wicked beat can provide the juice to quench a raver's thirst," (ABC News) and calling it “an unexpected triumph” (Houston Chronicle).
As Grant celebrates the release of In Motion: The Remixes, this fall she will support the American Cancer Society as she teams up with Kellie Pickler for Athena® Bottled Water’s “Eat. Drink. Party Pink.” event to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month in October and join the 72nd Annual Santa Train this November, bringing gifts to families in need in Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee.
Following Santa Train, Grant will once again hit the road spreading Christmas cheer with husband Vince Gill as they play multiple Christmas performances at the famous Ryman Auditorium in December, as well as co-bill with Michael W. Smith for shows with symphonies in Minneapolis, Dallas and Atlanta. Grant will also headline Christmas symphony dates in Toledo, St. Charles and Cincinatti.
