Nashville, Tenn. (Mar. 29, 2019) – 19 year-old singer, songwriter Riley Clemmons is unveiling a brand new single – “Fighting For Me” – today. “Fighting For Me” is set to hit radio on Apr. 19, serving as a follow-up to her breakthrough hit “Broken Prayers” and “Better For It” which received Radio Disney airplay. The first to know of the new music was her thousands of fans on Instagram.
"I sat down with my co-writers and we were thinking about what unites everyone, what do we all want and all have in common,” explains Clemmons. “We landed on the idea that everyone wants love, to be loved and to be fought for. I think that is the beautiful thing about God. He sees us, and His heart is of kindness & acceptance. I hope this song reminds people of how valued and worthy they are, and how all of our flaws are seen and accepted.”
